Better Function, Better Habits, Better Sleep Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy is a series of exercise-based treatment to create awareness and restore basic functions of life such as breathing, resting, sleeping, talking, chewing, and swallowing. The 4 Goals of Myofunctional Therapy are: 1. Nasal breathing 2. Lip seal 3. Proper tongue posture 4. Correct swallowing pattern SERVICES OFFERED *Complimentary 30 Minute Consultation- What is Myofunctional Therapy and what to expect. *Comprehensive Evaluation- 60 minutes thorough evaluation of orofacial dysfunction reviewed health history, compensations, functionality and creating a plan for customized therapy. *Early Start Session-Designed to start parents and babies with good habits. This session includes a MyoMunchee Bebe which can be helpful for oral tone, combatting mouth breathing and can be used as an oral motor exerciser and teething tool. Your therapist will give you tips and tricks in one 30 minute session to get your little one to engage with the MyoMunchee. *Comprehensive Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Program-- Designed as a foundational program to achieve the four goals of OMT: lip seal, nasal breathing, correct tongue posture and proper swallowing pattern. Every person is different, so customized treatment plans will be determined following the completion of the comprehensive evaluation. *Mini Myo Program-We address many concerns through the Mini Myo Program, including but not limited to: habit cessation, mouth breathing, tongue tie, etc. We teach exercises and activities that help establish a foundation of nasal breathing and proper oral rest posture. A customized treatment plans will be determined following the completion of the comprehensive evaluation. All appointments are virtual which makes therapy visits accommodating and feasible. When we can improve these basic life functions, it can be life changing!
